Todd’s Trauma Sparks New Questions
In the latest episode, George gathered Christina, Glenda, Mary, Sarah, Sean, and Summer together to discuss growing concerns over Todd’s emotional state.
Although Todd had endured months of manipulation and emotional abuse from Theo, he has struggled to move on following the traumatic events leading up to Theo’s de.ath.
Todd was furious to discover the group discussing him behind his back and quickly turned the conversation in a darker direction, suggesting that one of them may have actually murd.ered Theo.
The atmosphere became even more emotional when Theo’s estranged wife Danielle later arrived at the Rovers to speak privately with Todd.
During the tense exchange, Danielle admitted she had spent much of her marriage frightened of Theo because of his controlling behavior. Todd, meanwhile, shocked viewers by confessing that despite everything Theo put him through, he was still grieving him.
Kit Green Becomes Increasingly Suspicious
Elsewhere, Kit continued investigating the growing list of suspects while interviewing Jodie after her return to Weatherfield.
David and Shona Platt were also present during questioning, with Kit later informing Sarah that police still had no major breakthroughs regarding her attacker.
However, Todd’s earlier accusation clearly stayed on Kit’s mind.
After reflecting on the conversation, Kit pointed out that Todd arguably had the strongest motive to want Theo gone permanently — especially after the abuse he allegedly suffered.
But events later in the episode pushed Kit toward an entirely different suspect.
Gary Windass Lands In The Spotlight
In one of the episode’s most tension-filled scenes, Todd confronted Gary directly and asked him outright whether he had k.illed Theo.
Gary denied murd.er, insisting he had only agreed to help intimidate Theo after Todd suggested scaring him off. According to Gary, the worst thing he did was vandalize Theo’s van.
The confrontation quickly spiraled, with Todd accusing Gary of lying — only for Gary to fire the same accusation right back at him.
Realizing how suspicious their connection could appear, the pair agreed it would be best not to communicate any further.
What neither man realized, however, was that Kit had secretly witnessed the entire exchange.
Is Gary Really Theo’s Killer?
The dramatic cliffhanger sets up next week’s episodes, where Kit reportedly becomes convinced Gary may be responsible for Theo’s murd.er.
With new evidence expected to emerge pointing toward Gary’s possible involvement, the investigation looks set to become even more dangerous for Weatherfield residents.
