Emmerdale fans declare love for duo in ‘welcoming move’ for soap

Cain and Moira finally shared a moment together

Emmerdale fans expressed their love for Cain and Moira as Liam Cavanagh helped to orchestrate a secret meeting between the couple.

It’s been a tough few years for Cain and Moira Dingle, with Cain learning that his son Nate Robinson had been murdered by John Sugden and Moira’s brain tumours, the couple have had a lot to face.

At the start of the year, Cain learned about a mass after being shot accidentally during Corriedale. He was later diagnosed with prostate cancer, but struggled with his demons alone as Moira had been wrongfully imprisoned for the deaths of Celia Daniels and a slave on Celia’s farm, Anya.

Mixed with human trafficking charges, things weren’t looking good for Moira and Cain tried his best to keep everything afloat at home in her absence.

Moira recently told Cain the good news that they were dropping the murder charges as they couldn’t make it stick, and she felt hopeful that things were finally looking up. However, Cain was still struggling with his surgery the next day as well as the troubles he had been having over Joe Tate buying the farmland off him.

On Monday (April 7) night, Moira contacted Dr Liam Cavanagh and asked him for a favour. Viewers then saw Moira at the hospital ready for her MRI, but Liam dressed up for the occasion whisked her away to a room where Cain awaited.

The couple shared a passionate moment just in time before Moira’s police escort came looking for her and she was sent away to her actual MRI.

Fans of the ITV soap praised the hidden meetup between the couple, adding their enjoyment over Liam and Cain’s friendship as they bonded more over a pint in the Woolpack later that day.
