Former Days of Our Lives star Finley Rose Slater is officially stepping into an exciting new chapter of her career — and fans are already celebrating the rising actress’s latest achievement.

After winning over daytime viewers with her emotional portrayal of Rachel Black on the long-running NBC and Peacock soap, Slater has now joined the cast of the upcoming inspirational drama Ethan Almighty – Ethan’s Law.

She also expressed excitement about collaborating with director Tane McClure and teased scenes alongside the movie’s canine star, affectionately referring to “our furry friend 🐶.”

The Powerful True Story Behind Ethan’s Law

The upcoming film is based on a remarkable real-life story centered around a heroic dog named Ethan, whose survival journey ultimately sparked legislative change.

According to the project’s synopsis, the movie follows Jeff Callaway and his adopted dog Ethan, who miraculously survives horrific circumstances against all odds. Their bond and public story eventually inspire the state of Kentucky to pass “Ethan’s Law,” a bill designed to strengthen protections against animal cruelty.

The emotionally driven drama is written by Tyke Caravelli and McClure, with McClure also directing the project.

The cast includes an impressive lineup of familiar faces, including Sean Patrick Flanery, Selma Blair, Brandon Routh, and former Days of Our Lives actor Trevor Donovan.
