As Javi and Leo Finally Talk Things Out, Kristen Lays Out Her Horrific, Murderous Plan
Kate pays a late night visit to Xander to talk about “this thing with Johnny.” That’s a nice way of putting “entrapment.” Xander wants to plow forward and call Johnny’s bluff, but Kate’s getting a little gunshy with Roman now. “This involves my marriage, OK?”
She’s worried that there might be a limit to even Roman’s patience and forgiveness. (There might be!) Then they move onto Theo, so Xander sends Kate to get the scoop from Abe while he works the Gwen angle for more answers. Kate warns Xander he’s playing with fire, but please. When has he ever listened?
Is Johnny Overreacting?
As Johnny and Chanel are going at it, he thinks he feels a lump, which annoys the heck out of her (“What are you, some kind of hypochondriac?”), until he guides her hand to it. But she doesn’t want to deal. She’s tired of him for looking for reasons to worry about the pregnancy.

They go back and forth on preparing for the worst or enjoying the moment and, honestly, it’s probably the existential question of the moment for all of us! But then Chanel gets another cramp and Johnny panics and — wait a minute. It’s the baby moving.
Will Javi Take Leo Back?
Javi can’t run off before Leo spots him, so they have to talk. Awkwardly. They exchange pleasantries until Leo musters up the courage to be honest, only for Dimitri to walk up, go off on “loverboy” being in town, and vow to make Leo even sorrier than before.
After he leaves, Leo tells Javi what’s been going on, and: “It was you. It was always you.” But as happy as Javi is that Leo’s still working on himself, he’s upset that Leo flew to Alamainia for Dimitri while Javi was dealing with family drama alone.

More: Is Stephanie overreacting?
Leo protests: “You told me not to go with you!” (OK, but that’s valid! Don’t say something like “Don’t go” if you secretly hope the other person will ignore what you said.) But Javi figured Leo moved on, so he did, too.
Brady and Sarah Connect
Brady and Sarah just binged through an entire series (Thank you for not jamming a Peacock ad in there.) and decide they’re both in need of a “big distraction” tonight (Wasn’t that what they just did??), so they start kissing, then decide on dinner.

They head to the square, where Sarah regales Brady with weird doctor stories. They get to know each other, talk karaoke, have a good time, then head back to Brady’s for “dessert.”
Kristen Wants to Kill Johnny
Sophia meets Kristen at a park bench where she gets an earful of the Big Bad Plan. And it’s going after Johnny by — “We’re gonna kill him.” Really?? Sophia’s in over her head. She doesn’t want to punish him that much!
Kristen makes it clear that saying “No,” would go very poorly for Sophia. And besides, this is the only way to get Johnny out of Trey’s life. “You stick with me, and you’ll get away with murder.” But Sophia has a valid point that Kristen didn’t even get away with attempted murder — and that leads her down a path to realizing that Rachel was the one who shot EJ a whole lot faster than anyone else in town! It’s actually kind of impressive.
Some more threats to keep Sophia’s mouth shut and some more ranting about EJ and it’s clear that Sophia’s unhinged is nothing in the face of Kristen’s mania. Over. Her. Head. “He took my daughter away from me,” Kristen growls. “And now I’m going to take his son away from him.”
In the Show’s Final Moments
Xander texts Gwen that he’s on his way over, only to spot Brady and Sarah canoodling and watch them head off to spend the night together.
Javi tells Leo that he’s in another relationship with someone from the firehouse that he’d been talking to before. He’s so grateful for Leo for helping him get to where he knew what he wanted and could be in a loving, committed relationship! Now THAT stings. Leo puts on a brave face, so long as Javi’s happy.
Johnny promises he’s excited and in love with Chanel and the baby. But he’ll never stop being worried about her, always. That settled, they get back to it.
Sophia points out that it seems Kristen needs her, but this is super risky. She wants to help, but… She wants Holly to pay, too. Sophia needs “resources” to set her up for a fall.
Next on Days of Our Lives, it’s finally here: Theo lets Marlena in on a secret. Is the Lexie about to be out of the bag? If you just can’t wait for tomorrow, get the full Friday preview for all five shows here!
