BBC Casualty ‘missing’ episode to air tonight as fans fear for character’s future

The long-running BBC medical drama is back on screens after taking a brief hiatus.

There’s good news for Casualty fans as the BBC series is finally back on screens.

The medical drama was removed from the broadcaster’s schedule for two weeks, with Big Night of Musicals by the National Lottery airing one week and the FA cup airing the other.

As the mini-series Learning Curve continues, with only two more episodes left, fans will be treated to the 11th instalment as a synopsis teases drama ahead.

It reads: “As the ED faces a make-or-break CQC inspection, can Kim keep her secret, or will she spiral out of control? And will Siobhan’s search for answers lead her to the truth?”

So far this series, audiences have seen the distressing storyline involving Siobhan McKenzie (played by Melanie Hill) as she revealed to her colleagues that she had been raped.

After learning the address of the person who assaulted Siobhan, Cam Mickelthwaite (Barney Walsh) tried to confront him, although things quickly backfired.

The man attacked Cam, which resulted in him going to the hospital for surgery after hurting his head. Since then, her attacker, Chris Banfield (Cai Brigden) was arrested after hurting Cam, as a new trailer shows Siobhan confronting her rapist.

The clip shows her visiting Chris in prison as she shouts in his face: “Say it! Say what you did to me!”

While he continues to deny raping Siobhan, telling the police her DNA was on him because she treated him at the hospital.

However, viewers fear Chris’ actions could have deadly consequences as many believe Cam could die as a result of his injuries.

This comes as the BBC soap revealed a trailer for this series, which featured a devastating funeral scene with many of the beloved staff members distraught.

Although the person in question hasn’t been revealed, fans think it’s Cam who succumbs to his head injury.

One person online said: “Please don’t let Cam die.” Another wrote: “They better not kill Cam!”

Someone else commented: “So, guessing it’s Cam’s funeral, he’ll go after the attacker and come off worse.”

However, other fans have suggested the tragic death that is set to unfold could be that of newcomer Kim Chang (Jasmine Bayes)
