Dimitri Gives Gwen What She Wants, But She May Live to Regret It — and Johnny and Chanel’s Beautiful Night Takes a Turn
Johnny finds Chanel folding laundry and tries putting her to bed — but she’s got a burst of energy now that she’s in her second trimester. Family walk for gelato!
Is EJ Back In the Family?
Dimitri spots Leo in the square and runs off, just as Chanel and Johnny stroll in with Trey. (As adorable as ever.) After fawning a bit, he sees himself off the second EJ joins the fray — and the family for gelato!

Things go well enough, as EJ promises he won’t let them down again, and Johnny promises to learn from his mistakes. “I’m gonna hold y’all to them,” Chanel says (good luck!) and takes the family home to wind down.
Is Dimitri Really Done?
Dimitri slinks into the DiMera mansion and helps himself to a drink while Gwen, divorce papers in hand, goes on about Leo until: “Leo dumped me.” Well, that’s a surprise! Gwen knows she has to push this along fast before anything — nope, too late.
Dimitri isn’t so sure he wants this divorce anymore, so Gwen pulls out her trump card: She’ll insist they cohabitate and she’ll never leave his side! Worse, she’ll complain about him on social media! The horror!

Rather than rage, Dimitri whispers to Gwen that she’s not worth even getting upset over. That hits a nerve, because Gwen softens up and recalls how she used to love him and how wonderful he was when they first met. “Can you have some compassion for me and for you and want the right thing for both of us?” It works! (It does?) Dimitri signs the papers, but promises that he will find proof she kidnapped him and make her pay. Oh, will he make her pay.
Theo’s Upset With Jada
Jada and Theo arrive for Trivia Night, followed shortly by Gabi and Philip. They sit outside for a bit to be all lovey-dovey, while inside, things are tense. Jada, thanks to Roman, has to explain to a sulking Theo why Shawn is moving in with her. By the time Gabi and Philip join them, the awkwardness is ratcheted up and Theo just stares at the table.

But when Leo walks in, Gabi goes over for a little talk and finds out he’s very single and very separated from Dimitri. Also, Javi is the only man he loves! Gabi even manages to look vaguely impressed as she wanders over to join Jada at the bar getting drinks.
“I think this might be our last date,” Jada admits, but won’t admit to herself that Shawn staying with her might lead to anything. But when Gabi suggests something’s up with Theo, this is the first Jada’s heard about him quitting his job!
Trivia Night!
Back at the table, Philip brings up the whole CEO thing, and then Leo joins to double down on the questions and just about get his head snapped off for the effort. The ladies wrap up their talk and chase Leo off to continue the awkward night as everyone just sits and watches Theo chug his beer in one go.

Then things get weird as Trivia Night starts and everyone shouts out the answers instead of writing them down. It’s pure chaos, but Leo finally gives up and leaves and Theo follows Leo (say that five times fast) and calls it a night.
In the Show’s Final Moments
Out in the square, Leo calls Marlena to thank her, not noticing Javi sitting right by him reading, until his ex gets up to run off. Gabi goes to talk to Theo (Luckily, he only made it to the bench out front), but he just wants to be alone. Jada joins Philip and Gabi’s team.
EJ gets home as Dimitri’s leaving to insult him a bit before they part. And panic Gwen by suggesting that Dimitri went a bit too quietly.
Johnny and Chanel talk over their evening with EJ in bed, which isn’t exactly pillow talk, but they get revved up, anyway! But that comes to a screeching halt when Johnny grabs her and… “I think I might have just felt a lump.”
Next on Days of Our Lives, it’s finally here: Javi and Leo are finally face to face, and Gabi and Rafe’s cousin wants answers! If you just can’t wait for tomorrow, get the full Thursday preview for all five shows here!
