Young & Restless Preview: Cane’s Arrest Impacts Malcolm’s Treatment

Young & Restless Preview: R.I.P., Malcolm?!? As Victor’s Vendetta Undermines Lily’s Life-Saving Mission, Matt Has Only One Thing On His Mind

Sienna made a “fatal” mistake last week on Young & Restless, and now, it’s about to come back to haunt her and the Newmans, as teased in the preview for what is ahead. Plus, can Jack beat Victor and Patty at their own game? And speaking of Victor and his nonsense, it looks like Malcolm could become an unexpected casualty of The Mustache’s need to punish Phyllis, Billy and Cane!

Who Will Save Malcolm Now?

Half of Genoa City, the half not consumed with Matt’s shenanigans, was focused on finding a match for Malcolm’s aplastic anemia. Naturally, Cane, who needs a redemption arc big time, turned out to be the match. Indeed, with this turn of events, something had shifted between him and ex-wife Lily.

Unfortunately, thanks to planted evidence, the newly minted D.A., Christine, helps Victor get his revenge against those who stole his company and has Cane arrested! He promises Lily to make it to New York to help Malcolm, but will he? Dude has never quite learned not to make promises he doesn’t know if he can keep!

Patty Pesters Everyone

Patty had made it clear she is sticking around Genoa Steady to try and forge a new life, one she was delusional enough to think would include Jack. What she didn’t know was that the object of her desire was plotting to lure her to his side and use her to beat Victor — as if that’s even possible. Next week, Patty gleefully crashes a fraught meeting between Diane and Victor.

Unfortunately, Alive and Kicking

In Vegas, Matt’s plan to blow up the abandoned garage with the Newmans inside failed as they all managed to escape at the last minute. Later, as Sharon and Adam tried to get Nick to admit he needed help with his drug problem, a bloody and battered Sienna turned up with claims that she had gone after Matt, only to leave him in the desert for dead! Unfortunately, she couldn’t remember much of what happened and assumed that he was vulture food.

Oh, Sienna, mistake No. 1: assuming! Like a cat with nine lives, Matt turns up next week in what appears to be a diner, asking a woman how far he is from Genoa City. He even seems to have the Genoa City Monopoly card in hand!
