Young & Restless Preview: Will Christine Send Phyllis to Prison?
If we were The Young and the Restless’ Phyllis, we might spend our days thanking our lucky stars that we’re not serving prison time for trying to make roadkill of Christine and Paul all those years ago. But of course, we’re not Phyllis, and she hasn’t stopped pushing the envelope for even a nanosecond. Will she ever be made to pay? As a matter of fact, it looks like “yes” — and it’s destined to be Victor who is the architect of her downfall!
Phyllis Is Playing Checkers; Victor, Chess
We’ve seen the pieces fall gradually into place. Victor is planning to use his much-ballyhooed AI to frame Phyllis for fraud (when really her having stolen Newman Enterprises out from under him should be criminal enough, no?). Victoria is seeking to ensure that, when Daddy lowers the boom, Christine is sitting in the D.A.’s office to get Phyllis moved to a suite at the Genoa City penitentiary. Who better to prosecute the conniver than the woman whose husband she once stole and whose life she nearly took!

Seems Like Old Times
Though the plot may not make a whole lotta sense — why would Victor have to manufacture evidence when half of Genoa City knows exactly how Phyllis seized control of Newman? — it does promise a fun payoff for fans: a Christine/Phyllis rematch. And this time around, The Bug might get to be the one to squash her nemesis!
